Cookies Policy

Authentication session cookie. This cookie keeps you signed in and is required to use your account. It is HTTP-only, so browser JavaScript cannot read it. It normally expires after seven days and may be renewed while you use Walletycs.

Consent-attempt cookie (walletycs_legal_consent_attempt). During email sign-up this short-lived, HTTP-only cookie links your sign-up to your acceptance of our Terms of Service and age declaration. It expires after 15 minutes and is required to complete sign-up.

We use these cookies for authentication and the sign-up flow. Blocking them may prevent you from signing in or completing sign-up.

Language preference cookie (walletycs-language). This cookie remembers the language you selected for the interface and expires after one year.

Local device storage. We store a small amount of data in your browser to remember display preferences such as your theme, privacy mode setting, and preferred chart layout. This data stays on your device until you clear it.

Session device storage. We store temporary data for the duration of a single tab session, such as the email address you entered during sign-up and your scroll position when navigating between screens. Your browser clears this data when you close the tab.

Walletycs does not use these cookies or storage entries for advertising or cross-site tracking.

We use Vercel Web Analytics on public and signed-in pages to count visits and understand which parts of Walletycs people use.

Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies or device storage. It uses a hash generated from the incoming request to distinguish visitors during a single day. Vercel resets that hash every 24 hours, so it cannot use it to follow a visitor between days or across different websites.

Vercel records the page path and route, the referring page on an initial page load where the browser supplies it, approximate location, and device, browser, and operating-system information. Vercel documents its standard Pages reporting as excluding query parameters.

Some Walletycs URLs include record IDs and search filters, including transaction concept searches. We do not use custom analytics events to send form contents, transaction amounts or comments, email addresses, credentials, or tokens.

Walletycs can view Web Analytics reports for up to one month. You can read how Vercel handles this data at https://vercel.com/docs/analytics/privacy-policy.

Because Vercel Web Analytics does not store or read analytics cookies or other information on your device, Walletycs does not show an analytics cookie prompt.

You can clear cookies and site data at any time through your browser settings. Clearing the authentication cookie signs you out, and clearing device storage resets your display preferences.
